What I miss in 2010?

I miss when neighbors were just that?  No agendas.

I miss when it was wrong to lie...and the end didn’t justify the means?

I miss when kids said “Yes sir, and no sir?”

I miss when someone’s word was their bond?

I miss not being taken care of by the government.

I miss sitting and doing nothing for at least a few minutes.

I miss being able to believe what I heard or read in the news.

I miss seeing people play baseball because they love the game.

What I’d like to see different in 2010

Change...let’s see less of that.  Different isn’t better.

Honest politicians (yeah, I know...one can only wish!)

A good meal for an honest price

People to take responsibility for their actions

More saving

Less spending

Far less expectation of entitlement

And, I’m sure I’m missing a lot, but, I’d like to see common sense become just that...more common.
